“When we moved to the area, I went to a dentist a few times that made me appreciate all the other dentists I’d ever had, if you know what I mean. I switched to Dr. Maria because she was within walking distance from my house at the time. I was so impressed with her staff and the care I received that I took my daughter there as well. I now take both my daughters (ages 10 and 6), and my third will be a patient in a year or so (when she gets a few more teeth). My oldest loves to go to the dentist—how often do you hear that??!! My younger daughter is a little more nervous about medical situations, but she enjoys going as well. The staff is so patient and loving that usually we get through the whole checkup—fluoride and all—without too much fussing. They are wonderful! I would highly recommend this office (and have) for children’s dentistry.

The aforementioned dentist I went to before Dr. Cavalier “fixed” my teeth when one broke that had been “fixed” before. It was hideous. I figured that was all that could be done and that was as good as it was going to get. I had lived with it for years until I started seeing Dr. Maria. She suggested a porcelain veneer and a “cap” as the problem with my front tooth. Of course, my insurance considered this to be “cosmetic” and would not cover the cost. Dr. Maria worked with me in making payments to cover the treatment. When I saw the final product in the mirror, I almost cried! I never thought I would have nice, normal teeth. I had been to at least three or four dentists over the years that never suggested this correction. They patched up the problem and sent me on my way. I assume they didn’t offer it because insurance wouldn’t cover it, but to not even consider I would have paid the money to have it correctly fixed was negligent?

In short, Dr. Maria is wonderful, her staff is wonderful, and I highly recommend this practice.”
